Yes, I can. But renouncing former behaviors is necessary. Forgiveness is at the heart of my spiritual Christian beliefs. It is supreme, on top of "Speak softy, but carry a big stick." That, I realize, is not a particularly Christian value. However, it is necessary for survival. I'll grant you, the human race is intractable. Dogs are much better. They give much and ask little. :) You know anyone ELSE in the world who can so easily forget 'old offenses'? Can you?
