I wrestled with that for awhile. It is really the PUBLIC messages that need to be highlighted. However; from a practical point of view highlighting the most common type of post seemed counter productive since people would just get used to seeing it.

I tried highlighting the public posts in red as a kind of "warning", but it is difficult to convey a mild shade of red that doesn't come across as pink. That would be like a boot heel on non-girlyman Bob's toes. <g>

For now, let's just leave it at the blue background on PMs with the Submit buttons all showing the type of message. That should go a long way toward minimizing the accidental public-should-have-been-private posts.
