Yes, Democrat war heros should he highly respected and listened to like adults. The truth is that your war-happy rightwing has ZERO combat veterans in its top ranks. Not a single Bushie leader has ever served in combat, and even Cheney who was Sec. Of Defense seems to have no clue about how to run a war except give control of it over to Halliburton and rob the tax-payers. FAHRENHEIT 9-11 was on Showtime last night. I watched some of it. You ought to watch it too. Despite all the smears against Michael Moore, that film hit the nail on the head and was prophetic. Everything that Moore is saying has been borne out by the past year's revelations. Everything. And the real pain of the soldiers and their families for the losses and suffering they've borne is shattering. Don't believe the BS that that troops want to be in Iraq. Maybe some do, but most are dying to come home and see Iraq as FUBAR.

Rumsfeld ought to step down now. Rumor is Joe Lieberman is vying to replace him. That would be Bush's first non-partisan appointment since he picked Colin Powell. Rumsfeld seemed like a cool guy at first but he seems to have no clue how to run a war and no ethics. BTW: FAHRENHEIT 9-11 is full of video clips of Bush, Cheney, Rice and Rummy lying that there is no difference between Sadam and Al Qaida. That has been debated, but the proof is in that film. Another clip shows that Bush/Ashcroft called the FBI off terrorists prior to 9-11 and actively moved to protects Saudis in the US from surveillance operations. Shocking but true.
