After a year it's more relevant and on target than ever. Even honest conservatives can agree on that now. All the charges Bushies keep denying now are proven true in this film with video clips. Bush, Cheney, Rice, Rummy all saying that Saddam and Al Qaida were one and Saddam was connected to 9-11. All saying the WMD were there and America would be attacked if we didn't invade. To be fair, also showed how top democrats failed to argue much. The proof is in that film. Another clip shows that Bush/Ashcroft called the FBI off terrorists prior to 9-11 and actively moved to protects Saudis in the US from surveillance operations. Shocking but true. The film also shows Bush's elite fat cats, Halliburton execs and war profiteers grinning from ear to ear over the windfall profits they're making off the war and Bush's pro big oil, pro billionaire, pro corporate gouging policies. Bush's lines "Some people call you the elite, I call you my base", and "bring em on!" are deeply disturbing. Finally, the film shows the very real pain of super patriotic average Americans whose sons have been sent to Iraq and killed for no rational reason. Plus the thousands of troops whose limbs have been blown off and who are hardly noticed. It shows that even a year ago, the discontent inside the military and their families was huge. It must be much bigger now. The pain of the patriotic mother who lost her son going to the White House and yelling tearfully at Bush is not something that could be faked. It was so-so true and cuts through all the Bushie propaganda. Bush really should be impeached for this war and the lies he told to get us into it. He should also be driven out of power for his pro-elitist economic policies, ineptitude after Katrina and terrible environmental record.
