Red, I had two similar incidents. One was a tournament on Party. We were down to four players and I was the chip leader. The short stack went all in and I called with a queen/four. I drew out against him and he berated me as an idiot for calling. If I had lost, I would have still been chip leader, but, if I won, I was in the money. I would have called with seven/two offsuit. But somebody like that could never understand the reasoning.

I had another hand where I had a four straight, a four flush and a high pair. Otherwise known as a lot of potential. <G> Nobody was too aggressive, so I called small bets or checked to the river. I hit, made a nice bet, and one player started cussing me as an unprintable "chaser." I just made the comment that I usually played Hold 'Em with five cards on the board, not three or four. <G> The fact is, you have to chase me out when I have nothing but potential. Otherwise, it's like a good looking woman smiling at me. I'm not leaving.
