Claude - BCM is given kudos this morning...

Bear Creek named to 2005 TSX Venture 50 - Appointment of VP Corporate Affairs

VANCOUVER, Dec. 6, 2005 (Canada NewsWire via COMTEX) --
Bear Creek Mining (TSX Venture: BCM) ("Bear Creek" or the "Company") is very pleased to announce their nomination to the 2005 TSX Venture 50(TM), the first ever ranking of Canada's top emerging public companies listed on TSX Venture Exchange. The Company is also pleased to announce the executive appointment of Chafika Eddine as Vice President Corporate Affairs.

TSX Venture 50 --------------

The TSX Venture 50 are the top 10 companies in each of five major industry sectors - mining, oil & gas, technology, life science and diversified industries - based on a ranking formula with equal weighting given to one-year revenue (last reported 12 months), return on investment, market cap growth and trading volume. All data was as of August 31, 2005.

Andrew Swarthout, CEO of Bear Creek states, "It is a tremendous honor to be among the 10 top emerging companies in the mining category. We see the nomination of Bear Creek to the TSX Venture 50 as a significant recognition of the success of our exploration team in creating shareholder value with the discovery of the Corani silver deposit this year."

Country is why I didn't keep it very long. I gotta tell you NW really messed with people's minds and risk-tolerance around here.

I am sure country risk is a contributing factor Claude, that too will be overcome with good start up production numbers.

Eventually, EPM's economics will win out.

Cheers,
Ogi
