I didn't know the Catholic church was against contraceptives. I knew abortions but not contraceptives. I am sure they have their illogical reasons. Very logical...need sheep for a dwindling flock. And who do they put in as pope? Another conservative......this time from Germany. What infuriates me is that the church's illogical edicts have the most impact on countries that can least afford it. Plus, I love the fact that they refuse to put a pope in place that is from the area of the world where the flock is growing and who strongly believe in the church.....and that would be South America. What is that called......careful creativism or special selection? ted
