Do any of the old-timers remember when the Legerity spinoff was, how it was handled in the quarter in which it was spun off, and whatever became of the company?

What did they make? Comm chips, PLD's, FPGA's? I seem to remember some spinoff that made programmable logic of some kind.

I do recall that there was no IPO, it was sold for cash, and I think AMD recorded a substantial gain on the sale. So it is probably not very relevant to the handling of Spansion IPO accounting in the Q4 report. Still interested in what became of the company though.
