My father helped liberate at least 2 concentration camps and described to me what he saw. There were no photographers in there first and there were no smoke and mirrors. He told me of tons of ash with some bones and teeth that hadn't totally burnt. Men who were all near death from starvation. He said they were like skeletons with skin and sunken eyes. He told me of mounds of what looked like earth, but had small springs of putrified blood and tissue slowly drain from the stinking mounds. Occasionally a large gas release would shake the mound and actually blow loose dirt from the pile. My father was not unsympathetic to the plight of the German civilians and soldiers. He was simply honest in describing what haunted him til he died.

You seem to have an agenda. If just what my father saw in two places was all there was, it was certainly enough, more than enough and much more than he ever wished to have seen.
