re: I just think it's hypocritical for people to blast Bushes capital gains cut to 15% when Clinton signed one lowering it to ZERO...plus the repercusions of doing it for real estate.

Another way to look at it is that cap gains for real estate over $500K are much higher than for stocks. And in the end, the tax code is just financial manipulation... I'm more disturbed by hugh tax breaks for obscenely profitable energy companies.
