North Korea and Iran's moves to make nuclear weapons are very misguided.

They fail to realize that if someone secretly attacks the USA or Israel with a nuclear weapon, the those victims would feel obligated to lash out. The attacker may even want to make it look as if someone else did it.

If 2 million Americans or a million Israelis were killed in an atomic blast, could you imagine the political fallout of the political leaders and military sitting around and not doing anything to retaliate? There is no telling what the political environment would be like after such an attack.

What decisions would be made?

Would Israel or the USA guess at the guilty party?

Would they retaliate by eliminating the population of the accused country?

Once your country owns a nuclear weapon or is perceived as owning such a weapon, then you are at grave risk of being labelled a perpetrator when things go very wrong.

My advice to Iran and North Korea is to stop all nuclear weapon development and open their doors wide open to inspectors. If you don't, then one day your country could be vaporized and you may not have even been the bad guy.

Such a dangerous world we live in.
