These look like some big numbers

Good Results Continue for Anatolia at Copler
ccnmatthews.com

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - Dec. 7, 2005) -

December 2005 Update: New results include 46 meters @ 9.3 gpt gold and 47 meters at 5.8 gpt gold for step-out drilling between Main and Marble Contact zones. Technical and engineering work advances.

Anatolia Minerals Development Limited (TSX:ANO) ("Anatolia") has completed an additional 13 holes totaling 1,404 meters of reverse-circulation (RC) exploration drilling and eight condemnation holes at its 100%-owned Copler Gold Project in Turkey. Focused on the area between the Main and Marble Contact Zones, the program was designed to fill in the area between the two zones. Geotechnical and site condemnation drilling continues. The map attached to this news release will be posted to Anatolia's web site (www.anatolia-minerals.com).

Although these results extend known mineralization, Anatolia does not plan to update the published resource estimate nor use these results in the feasibility study currently under way. The drill results are not included in any resource estimated released to date by Anatolia. These results will lead to additional follow-up drilling which may be incorporated in mine planning. Exploration of previously un-drilled areas of the Copler Valley and the surrounding 'Footprint Area' is progressing on a limited basis.

A brief summary of some of the more significant results is given below. True width is unknown.

Richard C. Moores, President of Anatolia, stated, "We are very pleased with the results received to date. The holes drilled between the two zones are helping to fill the gap with good grade mineralization. We're optimistic that these holes will upgrade the quality of the currently established resource base and favorably impact both its size and grade. Additional holes are planned." Mr. Moores added, "The holes drilled are outside the area included within the current resource estimate and demonstrate that gold mineralization extends beyond the previously known limits. We may be able to connect 2 or more zones of mineralization."

Concurrently, Anatolia is advancing the feasibility study for the oxide portion of the resource. In September 2005, Anatolia announced the results of a study by Independent Mining Consultants that demonstrate a 3.8 million measured and indicated ounce gold resource (including 1.8 million oxide ounces) plus a 1.6 million ounce inferred gold resource. Additional metallurgical testing, continuation of baseline environmental studies, project design and facilities siting studies are proceeding as planned. Anatolia expects to complete the feasibility study by the end of March 2006.

Anatolia has been engaged in minerals exploration in Turkey since 1996. In January 2004, Anatolia increased to 100% its interest in the Copler Gold Project. Anatolia recently upgraded 3.8 million ounces to the measured and indicated categories and outlined an additional 1.6 million ounce inferred resource. Anatolia is advancing work at Copler to achieve a production decision by first quarter 2006 for an open pit gold operation for the shallow leachable oxide portion of Copler. The Company also controls approximately 1.1 million hectares within Turkey, including four properties currently under joint exploration with Rio Tinto. The Rio Tinto agreement requires payment by Rio Tinto of expenditures for grassroots programs, specific prospect costs in which Rio Tinto is participating, and portions of Anatolia's Turkish field office expenses. Four other Anatolia properties are under joint venture with other companies. Anatolia currently has 57.5 million common shares issued and outstanding, 69.7 million fully diluted. Anatolia trades on the Toronto Stock Exchange as ANO.

This news release may contain forward-looking statements in respect of various matters including upcoming work programs and events. The results or events predicted in these forward-looking statements may differ materially from actual results or events. Assays are performed by OMAC Laboratories, Ireland, and ALS-Chemex, Vancouver, BC, Canada, with quality control of sampling, preparation and assaying overseen by Anatolia, whose President, Richard C. Moores, is a "qualified person" for the purposes of applicable Canadian securities regulations. Resource calculations were prepared by John Merek of Independent Mining Consultants, a qualified person within the meaning of NI 43-101.
