To my way of thinking, most of the flippers would think holding and having to live in the house for two years would be way too slow and confining. What fueled the speculative boom were the lowest interest rates in 50 years and VERY loose financing standards couple with flaky mortgage products. The tax exemption had something, but little, to do with it.

I may be stuck in this one! I don't have any plans to sell it yet, although I probably could. I'm kind of liking it here, and it's really great to have a paid-for house. It takes all the stress out of making the nut every month. It's snowed four inches since I told you it hadn't snowed much!
