Porno was illegal in the US until long after the "Deep Throat" trials. Not until recently has it boomed. That coincided with the religious right's attack on sexual freedom as well as AIDS. My belief is that since sex itself has become under pressure from moralists and fears of STD's, porno has boomed making us the world's leader in masturbation and porn production. I bemoan this and don't like porno. I think the real thing is much better.

Denmark and Swededn were considered wild places where porno came from in the 60's, but actually that's just because topless girls have never been any big deal to them and they like nudism. They're actually a less sexy area of the world than most these days. Feminists rule the roost. For instance, it's very hard to find hookers in those countries. Unlike most places.

Holland is a mixture. It's a surprisingly unsexy country. I worked there for a year and the locals girls almost never put out. Even though prostitution is legal. Same with marijuana. The locals don't smoke. Go figure.
