Bush is now the least popular president since Nixon during Watergate. Both heads of the GOP congress, Bush's "brain" and the VP himself are under indictment and/or investigation. Duke Cunningham's going to prison. Duncan Hunter and others like him may be next. The Abramoff trial threatens to take out dozens of top Bushies, already snagging Grover Norquist and Ralph Reed. All this done without any democratic subpoena power.

And you don't think the GOP is scared of Kerry, the man who tied Bush in the election last year despite the most outrageously dishonest and manipulative campaign we've ever seen by Karl Rove, including massive cheating in Ohio?

Kerry may not be the next Dem nominee, but he is now vindicated. Everything he warned the country about last year with Bushies is coming true. The 38,000 lost GM and Ford jobs, the mess in Iraq with no end in sight, the lack of Homeland Security progress, Katrina proving inept callousness, the massive corruption, gas gouging, more and more Bush photo ops but less and less action and substance.

They not only fear Kerry, they fear any half-decent DEm candidate. Because right now anyone could beat any Bushie candidate. Pick any one of them and the unnamed Dem beats them by 10% at least. Also, don't forget Bush may be impeached next year, and it should be Kerry who delivers the final verdict speech. Perfect revenge for Bushie smearvet campaign and cheating in Ohio.
