You miss the point on Iraq. Bush had many options for first disarming then eventually removing Saddam. And Saddam was not at all connected with 9-11 as the Bushies claimed he has. Plus, the intel Bushies were using was either very old or very much discredited. Yet they presented it as fact, even to congress and our allies. So they basically rushed into this war without a plan based on lies. Even worse, they used the false fear-mongering against Saddam as a political club to brand any critics (who were right as it turned out) as "traitors". They even smeared war hero Max Cleland with that garbage. This is why Bushies deserve to be impeached, and will be. Now Bush is finally articulating a rational plan, but 2.5 years too late. And frankly, nobody beileves him anymore. He has no credibility left. Just a corrupt, empty suit reading a speech Karl Rove gave him.
