Real leaders don't rule by poll numbers
You must be thinking about a dictatorship.

In a democracy the leaders are obliged to work for the good of the people. How can someone do that if they don't even know what the people want? If you want to see how someone governs without polls ask Pol Pot.

Bush isn't fit to lick Churchhill's behind and you know it. Bush has no idea how to run a war, an economy, a helth care system, FEMA, Homeland Security or anything other than to campaign and raise cash at fat cat country club dinners, reading speeches given to him by Karl Rove's propaganda experts. The only people on earth who respect Bush are dyed-in-the-wool dittoheads, like you.
