Oddly enough I find myself actually missing the Murder of Crows that would rest in my 80+ yr old Ash and Sugar Maple.

An intimidating yet impressive group of 700-900 passerines resting all night in a mere two trees.

They have not returned this year to graffiti my brick patio and blue P/U truck with white and yellow blotches of turd...along with a rainstorm of broken branches littering the yard.

The nights they took refuge at our home, we would literally need an umbrella to walk to our garage and cars.

We live on the peak of a ridge which I assume they chose our location as a form of security; being able to notice trouble from all directions...

My suspicion and rumor lead me to believe they have moved to Trenton.

No $hit, Tim

PS, Nice shot of the Grouse, thanks for sharing; I believe it is our state bird (PA)
