even know what happened to the USS Arizona...

About 30 years ago, when I first left home for school, I shared a house with a one legged sailor who had been out of the harbor (in an oil tanker traveling with the carriers) during the attack. They returned as the harbor still burned. He insisted that the Arizona was not heavily damaged and only sank because there were so many coats of paint on it that it melted when it caught fire.
