JCP, Freely available easy birth control, less pregnancies, period. It's that simple.

There was a high school in some small California town which has one of the highest rates of teen pregnancy. Lack of birth control wasn't the problem, as the teachers there readily admitted. The real problem was getting the kids to use it.

Maybe the next step is to make emergency contraception as readily available as aspirin? Then abortion? Or maybe it's time to start addressing some deeper issues, instead of pretending that birth control is the end-all-be-all of solutions?
