53% of active duty troops in NC disapprove of Bush. That was in a recent and rare military poll I posted last month. The myth that the troops only back rightwingers is absurd. About 45% of the troops are democrats. And who cares what they think anyway? They are paid to obey orders and fight, and are supposed to obey all comanders in chief equally. BTW: The Democrats have 6-12 Iraq War veteranbs running for congress next year. The GOP has zero. And not a single major rightwing leader has ever served in combat. In fact most were deliberate draft-dodgers, including Bush-Cheney-Delay.
