I realize not all conservatives hated Clinton but many did, maybe most. Personally, I was totally disgusted with Clinton when he was elected in 1972. Anyone who paid attention to everyone thing reported on Clinton prior to the election knew what he was. However after the Clinton health care crusade failed and the House went Republican in '94, I got over my hostility. And in the late '90's believed the crusade against the Clinton's was not in the country's interest.
