Bush is handling the situation with Iraq?" 62% Disapprove | 32% Approve * Having read these polls, Bush-Rove have done two things, started embracing Kerry and Murtha's withdrawl plans without telling anyone, and also concocted a fantasy about "total victory" akin to the old "declare victory and leave" move in Vietnam. They have also pulled from the grave the old smear the Democratic war heros dirty trick. While a few gullible people may be swayed for awhile, these tactics won't work. Bush as commander in chief is finito. And the only way to deal with Iraq now is to listen to Kerry and Murtha.
