Hundreds of thousands of people that prepare themselves?!? General you sound more and more silly everyday. When you and mogambo have your piles of gold, and my mexican neighbors have all the farm land and cows - and you come to them for food and all you have is gold and they will not take it - what are you going to do? - whip out your sub machine gun mogambo/RAMBO style and TAKE it from them? There was once an english king - he was very worried about the barabrous hordes invading his land - he started the first inventory and accounting of all the resources of his kingdom - stuff like pigs, and goats, and chickens and eggs and cows - stuff people NEED AND USE and EAT. These were the things he was going to TRADE the barborous hordes to not INVADE. In the future, you and coconut will want food, and shelter, and clothing, and entertainment, and travel and energy - along with many other things - LONG before you will want, need or use shiny metal. You have convinced yourself SHINY GOLD will be taken in trade for these things - that it will trump all else - that is a truly foolish belief. Oil will be traded for bacon, and friends DVD's will be traded for brittney cd's. And those that cant TRADE - they will have MILITARIES to take by FORCE - as happened all through history and will happen in the future. And as they over extend and rot from the inside - new cultures and nations will rise with "THIER MILITARIES" to be the new powerhouse. No nation in existence is going to be a powerhouse because they have GOLD with no MILITARY to back them. Its not about the GOLD general, it hasn't been for quite awhile now. Keep hoarding your gold, I will keep refining my weapons and soldiers to be more and more battle tested. Watch a movie called DUNE - the man that controlled the SPICE - had the most hardened battle tested force in the universe.
