Take it to the same folks that liked the "Bridge to Nowhere"...they are sure to like the "Lutefisk" rescue....

Although for the life of me, can't understand why anyone can eat the stuff.....

But that is a perfect example.

Say you brought it to a school as part of your heritage, and one person saw it and decided it "offended" him/her. This offended person calls the Administration and demands it to be removed, and because the Administration doesn't want to offend anyone, they take it out of the school.

Rather, the poor pathetic "Lutefisk" should be allowed to stay, and just join the party of other pieces of heritage around it. Everyone could pick and choose....Who knows, someone might like it!! <ggg>

When Lutefisk is outlawed, only outlaws will have Lutefisk.

Before that happens, try some soup:

I will volunteer to be the lutefisk czar. What's the appropriate salary for the head of a $100,000,000 program?

I don't recall the government making any effort to create a fir tree Christmas tradition. And they sure didn't make any effort to create a mushroom Christmas tradition. Lutefisk will have to sink or swim <g> on its own, just like the fir trees and and mushrooms. I would expect lutefisk would fare even worse than mushrooms in the marketplace of traditions.
