This makes zero sense...

To get more advantageous rollover prices, they do their best to knock down those markets ahead of the transfer date.

If anything, those with large positions needing rollover want smooth sailing so the rollover can happen in predictable fashion.

Futures are classic definition of a zero-sum game. This doesn't make sense either...

There are way too many bulls in the system as triple-witching kicks into gear.

Futures are not stocks. For every futures contract, longs are matched 1:1 with shorts.
