The Professor was Beaten. Oh by the way, at the end of the article, it was also noted that the professor was beaten by two men on a country road...and was in the hospital for head injuries. Hmmmm, I wonder if THAT had anything to do with his decision to resign as department head? To somewhat paraphrase a famous comedian, if the Iraqis are fighting so hard for democracy, why don't they just take ours? We don't seem to be using it. cnn.com
