"However, no passenger has publicly concurred with that account."

You are right, that isn't good. Sounds like the same situation when that guy got shot in England.

Ted, this is not good:

"Marshals', witnesses' accounts differ on jet bomb threat claim"

cnn.com

Dave Adams, a spokesman for the Federal Air Marshal Service, said Alpizar had run up and down the plane's aisle yelling, "I have a bomb in my bag."

However, no passenger has publicly concurred with that account. Only one passenger recalled Alpizar saying, "I've got to get off, I've got to get off," CNN's Kathleen Koch reported.

This is not sounding good. I am sickened by the shooting and if it turns out he said nothing about a bomb, then the actions of the air marshalls really have to be reviewed closely. Osama bin Laden is succeeding in ways I never thought possible.

BTW if your sister doesn't work, why don't you consider having her go by train? They can monitor her and it will be much more pleasant than a plane. The air on planes is bad and I am convinced that that contributed to the man's episode by causing him to hyperventilate.
