Blue Sky Basin was great on Friday...for a total of 2 hours. By 10:30, it was tracked out and there were 30-40 minute lines at the chairs. I got there early, so the first few runs were fantastic. I talked to a patroller up there and as of Dec 5th, Vail has had the most snowfall in its history. Hopefully this record season will continue, but I can certainly attest that the snow base seemed like it was mid-Feb and not the first week of Dec. More snow forecast for this Tuesday night..... A-M-S
