He's a bit more optimistic about Israel and a bit more inclined to give Sharon the benefit of the doubt than I am. The new party is a step in the right direction, and Sharon certainly no longer remains the monster we thought he was, but that's the highest praise I'm willing to offer until we see a serious gesture from Israel on the West Bank.

If its real, its a remarkable transformation; essentially, he is saying his stance of the past 30 years may not have been the best one. And I agree with you.......the WB is the key. If Israel can turn that around, there might be peace.

I have to laugh when I think back on the discussions I had with my Israeli friends ten years ago. How naive I must have sounded.....like a typical American. LOL.

Its a search engine but different than google. It only picks up those related topics that have had the most hits by other people.........in other words, it narrows the field dramatically.
