There will be a ton of losers but also many winners so what else is new<g>

It just seems this time a rising tide lifting most boats in the US like much of the 1950's, 1960's, 1980's and 1990's won't be happening for a very long time. The debate here seems to center around whether the 1930's or 1970's is our future?

Personally I expect a 1970's repeat but with some very positive wild card new developments in medicine, technology, alternative energy and the globalization of US consumerism.
