What I'm suggesting is that funding for Intel flash was diverted to Intel/Micron.
Did analyst ask where the $200 reduction will occur? - they should have asked that question (that's the first question I would have asked but I'm not an analyst who is tied with one leg to the trading desk).
Actually it could mean that Intel on a relative and absolute base will spend more on CPU and chipsets assuming the major portion of flash capex is somewhat "outsourced" to JV.

BTW: Where are the Intel gurus
