i understand fully and dont expect to win until after a real disaster occurs. I can live with the senate with the over rep of small states but i dont think that it is necessary any longer to transfer that to the election of a national leader. We used to be a collection of states but we have changed so EC should get out of the way. Again i know it will be hard but what surprises me is how many people on the right dont see the danger that was evident if 40,000 people switched their vote in ohio. Pres Kerry and he would have lost by millions of votes. Rignt wouldnt be nearly so sanguine then. They are sanguine because EC helped them in 2000. mike
