Oh, she very definitely was, For the working commoners. Before her, the UK was known as "the sick man of Europe". Say. like Frence now, but worse. After her, the economy was singing. And still is. The average Briton is much better off for the changes she forced through and it shows.

England used to be known as a class society. That is still true to some extent- -there are still rich Lords and Dukes, etc. But now there are also lots of rich commoners, or people who were born as commoners, got rich, and got admitted to the nobility.

The Brits have much to thank her for.
