Once they're dead, they're ALL insurgents! At least in Iraq..

And where do all the explosives come from? Maybe there are big, hidden stockpiles all over the place which Saddam's crowd laid down for just such an eventuality as invasion and the need for guerilla war.

Hundreds of thousands of tons of conventional ordnance. It seems that Saddam, in order to maintain his defense industries, would continue to purchase more and more ammunition, to the point where his stash was equal to a VERY large percentage of the US conventional inventory.

As for the Air Marshals shooting... I'm sorry if I don't have a lot of sympathy for the victim.. What WAS HE THINKING, claiming that he had a bomb in his bag?

Are the Air Marhshals supposed to be psychic now?

Sorry... I'd have shot him too...

Btw, only wound up getting four hours of sleep today.. Was snoozing soundly when about 3PM there were two powerful detonations which I guess I just couldn't manage to sleep through. Didn't know what they were... Thought they were mortars.. But hell, I was tired and didn't want to get up...

So I laid there for another 45 minutes trying to reclaim that last two hours until my alarm clock would wake me up again, but to no avail.. Wound up just getting out of bed and going to work.

Turned out the explosions were controlled detonations by EOD. They're usually not this powerful and I manage to sleep through them..
