Ted, Did you know that now menarche or menstruation starts in 4th grade for many girls? I've wondered what is causing our kids to mature even earlier than they used to. Some blame hormones used in agriculture. I know a friend of mine who is having his whole family go organic because of that belief. They believe its the increased fat in kids's diets that is causing the change.
