Hackett was immediately promoted to future senator, a much more powerful job that congressman. Assuming he makes that leap and succeeds, he could be a future presidential candidate. He is a straight-talking war hero with tons of charisma, courage and manly good looks. Schmidt will only be in office for 1.5 years, just time enough to totally embarrass herself and the GOP and help turn Ohio over to democrats for many years to come. Without Ohio, the GOP cannot win national elections. Ohio is lost to the GOP now. The GOP corruption there is now well-known and has infuriated hundreds of thousands of crucial swing-voters in the state.
