I never read the Narnia series, myself, but would like to see the movie. I do like Tilda Swinton but it also just seems like it would be enjoyable.

I very much liked Tilda Swinton in Constantine, which is the type of fantasy movie that attracts me. Good vs evil and the good guys win, but no orks and no ewoks.

We read the entire series aloud to the boys growing up. Some of the books were more engrossing than others. The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe was probably their favorite and is the best-known. The Christian symbolism is blatant! I don't know how anyone could miss it-- especially Aslan's death and resurrection.
Personally I think Harry Potter is more fun, but we are looking forward to seeing Narnia. Are they going to do all seven books???
