it remains to be seen whether the video iPod will be a big hit, especially for pay-per-view broadcasts. so you can pay money to watch crappy free TV reruns on a 2-inch screen, bfd. you can't even watch DVDs on it, LOL! i would rather have a Nano for music (which i have) and buy a handheld DVD player for mobile video, if i wanted it (which i don't). the value proposition of the video iPod is very poor, imo. that is probably why Apple is marketing it as just an iPod that happens to play video. the video part is simply a gimmick.
