I forget, but didn't they arrest some people at Enron? Who did they arrest at Bre-X. And this CCAA scam boggles my mind. I am really sick of Canadian Companies going into CCAA because it is convenient, wiping out the shareholders, and emerging with new shareholders, and the same crappy management they went in with. I think it is time that before they go into CCAA Canada required a shareholders vote. I would have certainly liked the chance to vote out the board and ceo of Steelco. And that they are charging every single citizen of Ontario $15.00 to bail them out is just plain stupid.

You know Sarge I thought about this, and you might be right. I own 2 houses, and 2 cars, I have no debt. I retired at 52, and I am now 58. I owned a small extremely service oriented service company before I retired. I may not know what I am talking about, and you may think I am funny. But it is OK, I think the Canadian Markets have crappy enforcement and are letting some of the big guys get away with some real crap. I just don't like what I see. And I know enough that if I don't like what I am seeing, I am better off trading quickly in Canadian stocks and investing where I think it makes sense than having to open a new business or God forbid having to find a job at my age. Who wants to work at my age?
