Liar. North Vietnam never would have quit. They were willing to die because it was their country. You need to see the film "The Fog Of War" where McNamara confesses the sins of our policies in Nam. He admits it was all based on a lie and was a really wrong and stupid war. He admits that only 20 years after did he realize it wasn't about communism at all, but we just plunked ourselves down in the middle of a civil war, were seen as invaders, and that our allies there were so corrupt they were worse than the enemy. Plus, we dropped more bombs on that poor country than in all of WWII and it was just way-way over the line, overkill and madness. Kerry was 100% right to come home from combat and work to stop that awful war.
