I'm satisfied with cat. 3 levees, which we were supposed to have but thanks mainly to the Corps of Engineers were not in place. I would also want funding for the Coast 2050 plan. Those two things are the cheapest and best alternatives.

I also want W to live up to the promise he made on Sept. 22 at Jackson Square:

"We'll not just rebuild, we'll build higher and better,"

The feds already pay for 80% of the cost. Since Louisiana's economy is devastated and the fed's incompetence was a serious cause of the flooding, the feds ought to pay for 95% of the cost. Otherwise, it won't get done.
