I'm in the Kootenai National Forest next to a congressionally declared a Wilderness Study area. There are no mineral, gas or oil areas in my valley and not likely that there ever will be. Those danged capitalist pigs prefer to pillage where there's something to pillage. The only natural resources we are big in are timber and natural beauty. There are many areas in the Rockies where that most certainly is a problem but not here. In Durango, Colorado, for example, you could literally wake up with a gas driller in your yard.
