If their "religious beliefs" get in the way of their serving the public and doing their JOB, they should be fired. Just as we'd fire counter help at an eatery that wouldn't serve a negro because of their racist beliefs. A devout Muslim man might insist that a woman cover herself because of HIS religious beliefs - but in THIS country HE'd be wrong.

Al, answer the question. Some don't see a difference between Plan B and the abortion pill, morally and/or religiously speaking. You think it's OK for them to be fired if they refuse to dispense a drug that goes against their moral or religious beliefs? That you should ask is ridiculous...state law does not give them discretion over what prescriptions are filled. If they can't discharge their law mandated duties, then alternate provisions need to be made...examples may be that there is always a pharmacist on staff to handle these types of drugs...may be that these folks have to chose a different line of work... Al
