How can you say that ? Bush believes he's carrying out God's will ! People who believe such lunacy generally are impervious to any rational thought, as is being amply demonstrated with the Chimp.

This is more about Bush's personal ego than it is about democracy for anyone. This is more about BigOil profits than it is about Iraqis or Americans.

It's an interesting psychological question, what "ego" means when it's mixed up with religious delusions of omnipotence.

But it is certainly true that if Big Oil had to foot the bill for this Iraq invasion (as they really should be doing, as it's the only real reason we're there), we wouldn't have touched the country with a 10 foot pole, 9/11 or not.
