It became obvious to me that Ms Meirs was no John Roberts in her meetings with Senators. I did not wish for her to withdraw. But in that she is intelligent, she with deep consideration concluded that she was not up to the process or I would say not good for the process.

You state of mental defect makes you blind to that scenario.
