Many Bushie policies are un-Christian. Christ's teachings specifically tell us to avoid greed, selfishness, being bad stewards of nature, cheating, lying, stealing, killing, going to war unless one absolutely has to and intolerance and oppression. The religious right is none of the above.

Real Christians are much more liberal. They are sharing, selfless, concerned about poor people, tolerant of others, forgiving, honest to a fault, peace-makers and very concerned about preserving the beauties of nature. They never would have twiddled their thumbs during Katrina for instance, nor would they be arguing for torture, pollution, tax cuts for billionaires, assault rifles, or be for slashing Medicaid, slashing VA funding, or any of the "let's dominate the world" war-mongering.

NARNIA will make money and attract a wide Christian audience, but the true depiction of the Bushie mentality is the Evil Wizard in LORD OF THE RINGS who sold out to the devil in Mordor and cuts down the forests to build weapons.

Bushies have betrayed Christ's central teachings and gone over to the Dark Side of the Force. They care only for themselves, no one else. They want war for profit. They could care less about poor people. That is proven by one look at their corrupt leadership, Delay, Rove, Blunt, Reed, Cunningham and Cheney in particular. But many others.

Pure coincidence that Narnia resembles the "book". Neither any of the film makers, nor the author of the series had the "book" in mind. Bookists, such as yourself, are obsessed with the "book" for the sake of being obsessed. You live in a world shrowded by the book. I pity you.

I saw it Friday with my kids. Fastest 2.5 hours I ever spent in a theater. Great flick.
