Seems to me that the hurricane wasn't selective. I don't believe a crash will be selective either. From what I read real estate (residential) will now go into a decade of boringness.

A construction worker told me this past weekend he was worried about his future in florida - but then he read all the new reports by the scientists on all the hurricanes over the next 20 years - and he is sleeping better now.

I remember watching fraggle rock when I was a kid, as long as they kept eating the buildings - there was work for all the doozers - hehe.
