It doesn't matter. Paul Wolfowitz and Pat Buchanan could swithc positions, but I still like Wolfowitz the man better than Pat Buchanan.

Of course, I hate what Wolfowitz's position has done to our country, I still think he is an okay person.

Paul Wolfowitz was/is one of Leo Strauss most enthusiastic students. One of the things Strauss taught was that a movement needs to have founding myths, and those myths are there to disguise the actual aims of the movement through "noble lies".

But I think I've mastered it now.
You have bought into their cover story.
