Of course you do. Just reflect on the difference between your Mayor's reaction and the NYC Mayor. Then look at the pictures of the people reacting during both episodes.

NYC was "core." You are "gap."

Why, then, should NYC have been showered with money and we're getting ignored?

C2, since you are the resident expert how much has the Federal Government spent so far in assisting NO and LA residents?

No matter what the answer it could be called a money shower. How about the approximately 500,000 former residents of NO who are living off the good graces of Americans across the country. I have a NO family living next door(NC)...3 kids in private school, Jaguar and big SUV in driveway. Two months ago they said they were going back to NO in December.

On another subject, why is there a labor shortage in NO and a large % of the rescue workers from out of town? In otherwords why aren't there more locals willing to help in the clean up?
